Artistic Philosophy & Programming Interests
Nathaniel believes in the transformative power of music. His motivation is centered around creating emotional connection and intellectual narrative through orchestral performances.
His current programming interests lie in the music of European émigrés of the Interwar Period such as Bartok and Korngold. Pairing later works by these composers with either 18th and 19th century classics or more contemporary voices can help illuminate their stories in powerful ways.
